Background: I was born into rock ‘n’ roll when my momma gave birth to me in the mountains of Colorado as my dad was on tour with his band. I come from a lineage of dancers, poets, musicians, and artists. I got my first keyboard when I was three years old, and that’s when I started taking ballet, jazz, and tap dance lessons and joined theater as well. I recitals for dance for 5 years, and continued dance in theater. Musical theater was a part of my life consecutively three to seventeen years old. I was blessed to be trained by the Old Brick Playhouse which won National Awards from the Obama Administration. In fourth grade, I took up the saxophone and choir which I continued all the way through my years of schooling. At age eight I was put into classical piano lessons, which I continued until I left home. In addition, I went to a famous Blues, Swing, & Vocal week for piano & vocal lessons every summer for six years with Augusta Heritage. Choir took me on road trips all over the state of West Virginia for All-State competitions. The cherry on-top was that I grew up with a homemade recording studio in my dad’s house where I got to witness many bands, and was in a community rock ‘n’ roll band at our local community arts center. I’ve always written poetry, and after having a 7-year block form my music, I am now writing, recording, and releasing my own original music.
